Co-Founder & Director
Bachelor of Health Science - TCM Acupuncture
Diploma of Shiatsu
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (August 2018)
My passion for natural medicine and massage started at a very young age. I found myself fascinated by the concepts of Eastern Philosophy and Acupuncture and still feel grateful that in my heart I knew that this is what I wanted to do.
Chinese Medicine just seems to make more sense to me, the foundational concept of treating each person as an individual and most importantly getting to root or the CAUSE of the imbalance/illness and not just focusing on the symptoms. This, so Simple but Profound!
I completed my qualifications as an Acupuncturist in 2002 and was lucky enough to complete some of my training hours in Shenyang Hospital, Shenyang China.
After a few years, my passion for incorporating more physical therapies and energetic work into my treatments grew. Thus inspiring me to attain a Diploma in Shiatsu, my Level 1 & 2 in Reiki and currently studying Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Body Intelligence.
Over the years my knowledge & experience has grown and my focus has not only been on treating people’s physical imbalances but educating them on the importance of how our emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of ourselves can affect our health and how it can help them heal.
I love to provide a safe space in which people can breathe and return to hear their heart and in return live and lead a healthy life, physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually.
Co-Founder & Director
I am a Heart Philosopher.
I practice and teach Heart Philosophy as a Life, Career and Relationship Coach, Reiki Master, Intuitive Mentor, Meditation and Mindfulness Trainer, Artist and Writer.
I am deeply passionate about engaging our Hearts, Mind, Body and Spirit to consciously create a more heartful way of living and participating with the world.
For over twelve years of private practice, I have been supporting people to access their Hearts to hear, feel and understand their inner wisdom and innate body knowledge for professional and self development needs.
I call this Heart Life Coaching. A Heart Centred intuitive approach is the best way I know, to ensure all guidance, recommendations and mindfulness strategies are aligned with (and will therefore be most relevant and work successfully), for and with your Heart, Mind, Body and Spirit. This modality style incorporates my knowledge of Life Coaching, Kinesiology, Intuitive Mentoring and training as a Reiki Master to help clear and release unwanted and limiting energy and beliefs, and energetically rebalance you to your chosen feelings, goals and wellness outcomes.
I love supporting people to: grow love, develop careers, train the mind, grow health and wellness through medical intuition and Reiki, grow a family and healthy relationships.
My aim is to grow a more loving world; through supporting individuals, families and companies to feel, think, act and conduct themselves with greater mindfulness, peace, health and happiness.
Together we can create a more Heartful World!
Owner of Maya Chinese Medicine
Bachelor of Health Science/Applied Science - (TCM)
Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbal Medicine
At Maya Chinese Medicine, I believe that the mind has a major influence on the physical body, which is why I look at the body in a more holistic way.
One of the translations of the word ‘Maya’ comes down to mean ‘the power in which we turn an idea into a reality’ which we firmly believe!
With this concept in mind, Maya will treat your physical body as well as your heart, mind and spirit.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science/Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) with distinction from RMIT University. I also completed the final semester of my degree in Nanjing, China, where I underwent a 4 month internship at a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.
I believe that everybody has the ability to heal themselves but some people may just need a little push to get them on their journey. My aim is to help educate my patients to empower them to regain their health.
I am very passionate about Chinese Medicine because rather than just treating the symptoms, Chinese Medicine looks at the body as a whole and treats the underlying causes of illness and disease.
My special interests are in treating gynaecological disorders, digestive problems and condition of the mind including stress, anxiety and insomnia.
